The Story
BLUE consists of nine original acrylic paintings on raw linen canvas, framed in oak.
BLUE is a series dedicated to my beloved mom, as a way of carrying my love for her into something that remains.
It is about grief, and everything that continues to move within us after loss, but also love, hope and strength.
Grief and love come in layers. So I built these in layers. Hand cut linen is mounted on foamboard, creating relief, shadow and depth against warm, textured paper. I left the raw linen edges frayed because life has rough edges too, and they don’t have to define us.
I hope these paintings give you a moment to pause and feel what is there.

Each original artwork is created by me using carefully selected materials to bring out the color, texture and character of the work.
Canvas: 100% linen canvas, chosen for its natural texture and beautiful surface. I love working with linen and the organic qualities it brings to my paintings.
Materials:
• Acrylic paint
• Rössler paper in warm ivory, creating a subtle contrast and a sense of depth
• Framed in solid oak with clear glass, ready to hang
• Original artwork, signed and dated 2026, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity

Solid oak shadow box frame
The solid oak frame creates a three-dimensional effect, adding depth and dimension to the artwork. The shadow box design positions the artwork towards the back of the frame, creating space around the linen canvas and allowing its texture and edges to remain visible.
Clear glass
The artwork is protected by clear glass, allowing the colors, textures and details to be appreciated while keeping the surface protected.
Ready to hang
Each artwork comes framed in solid oak and ready to hang, making it easy to bring a piece of BLUE into your home.
